A) Cash paid - surveys which pay cash for participation.
B) Rewards - surveys which give points for participation, points can be exchanged for various merchandise and gifts. Make sure you chect the rewards/points scale to see if the reward you want justifies your time.
C) Sweepstakes - surveys offers a sweepstakes entry for participation, its a gamble but its good practice and you can get your name out.
D) Cash Back Shopping and Product Evaluation, usually involves a purchase or a shipping charge then a short survey after which you get reimbursed for some or all of the cost plus a fee for your time

2) Organize Organize Organize
Keep all of your survey information in a notebook. List each company you applied to. If you are accepted or regected and why ( you might be able to reapply). Group survey types into sections, list all important info such as site url, support email, user name and password, invatition email (make sure you add this to your email addressbook so your invatations dont bounce off), how you get paid, paypal or credit card information as needed.

3)Patience Patience Patience
It takes time to join sites , verify email address, get into the companies database, receive invatations, and finally get paid. Be prepared to wait 3 months before you see results in your bank account. Also a lot of companies have screener surveys which you dont get paid for but it is important to do them they help qualify you for opportunities.
